In another milestone towards achieving excellence, Ascon was recently awarded
the Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme(DQAP) by his Highness Sheikh Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of
Dubai.
Ascon was one of the 19 organisations from diverse economic sectors that were
honoured with the award.
The DQAP comes close on the heels of Ascon receiving the prestigious Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award for Excellence in Construction for 2007,
thus establishing Ascon's pre-eminent position in the construction sector of the
region.
"Quality construction and timely delivery have been the hallmarks of our
success," said Abid Junaid, Executive Director of Ascon, adding that, "We have
